01 / Challenge

The challenge is management of a worldwide solution for defective returns, once the end client has received the replacement item.

The former solution – once the replacement activity was carried out, we were approached by our customer’s CS in order to coordinate the pick up. We created the RAWB using different courier accounts, uploaded the RAWB to Logivice, and the CS sent it by email to the engineer at the site. This created a huge workload for all sides involved.

02 / Process

We suggested that our client use a different solution: Generating the RAWB in the WH before the replacement unit is shipped. The RAWB is added to the shipment pouch, so the end client receives the RWAB with the replacement unit.

The RAWB is automatically generated through Logivice, eliminating manual work and mistakes. We set up the solution with our US supplier.

03 / Results

We shortened the cycle of defective returns by 30%, achieving higher asset recovery for our customer and improved inventory cycles.
